I can't believe that another year has passed. They say that as you get older, the years just fly by...does that mean I'm getting old? ;) It's gonna take me awhile to adjust to writing "2010" on everything now.

Wow...another decade, huh? Well, I'll be the first to say that I am SO unbelievably relieved to give 2009 the big ol' boot out of here and embrace a fresh start for 2010. The year had it's ups and downs, some phenomenal career highs for me and some less than pleasant kicks to the gut as well. Either way, a new year...a clean slate! Isn't that a blessing in itself?! And I couldn't think of any better way to say goodbye to one year and hello to another than to be in COUNTRY WEEKLY magazine! Pick it on up and see my mug in there, yay! I hope you all had a BEAUTIFUL Christmas & New Year's, I know I did! Going away, getting out of town for awhile was so good for my soul. I ended up spending the week before Christmas down in Panama City, Florida on the beach with my dogs. Taking super long strolls along a deserted beach was so invigorating, I must say. Watching all the dogs run and jump into the ways was extremely entertaining and comical as well! I'm gonna have to post photos of that soon! Check my Facebook and MySpace soon for photos from the holidays! From Panama City, went up to Detroit to spend Christmas with all of my family. I didn't know I missed them so much, but I do. This trip was alllll about my family, I hardly saw any friends back home. Spending some real quality time with my parents, my Grandma, my little cousins, my younger siblings (who all stand completely over me), my aunt....it was so beautiful.
